We’re changing
what qualifies as
good advice
in Food CPG.
Operators first,
consultants second.
We don’t speak in theory, we speak from the factory floor, test kitchen, and brand activations.
We started Birdway CPG to be the consulting firm we wish had existed when we were on the other side of the table: fast, honest, strategic, and just unhinged enough to actually drive results.
Along the way, we've learned that the next great innovation isn't coming from some multinational that just needs to play it safe. It's coming from passionate creators, scrappy food incubators, and test kitchens willing to take a swing.
We've teamed up to support those businesses with data, process, and manufacturing know-how. To bring life to food brands that deserve more than a template approach. Because like you, we're hungry for what comes next.
Our Approach
Dan Beaudoin
Meet Dan: our consummate operations guru. Dan is what happens when an over-caffeinated, slightly feral strategist refuses to quit.
A well groomed ops guy running on espresso, pattern recognition, and a suspicious amount of cottage cheese; he’s built a career out of turning chaos into consumer-ready products.
Affectionately known as Mango Dan for his unique ability to connect suppliers with manufacturers even in droughts, his knowledge of food and production is unparalleled.
Sara Heitmann
Meet Sara: our brand strategist turned consumer whisperer. A retail floor veteran who got dangerously good at reading data patterns and refused to stay in her lane.
A structure-obsessed marketer running on spreadsheets, shopper psychology, and dirt under her fingernails; she's built a career out of translating consumer chaos into shelf domination.
Known for her ability to predict why someone reaches for this product over that one, her understanding of the shopper-to-brand connection is her super power.
She cut her teeth building retail displays, climbed the ladder launching global innovations, and now brings operations-level rigor to the wild world of brand strategy.
When she's not evolving packaging or matching insights to co-man capabilities, you'll find her in the garden or on the board of her local urban farm, because apparently understanding food systems from soil to sale is her idea of balance.
